Air Permeability Testing

The vast majority of new properties require an Air Permeability Test when they are completed. The “as designed” SAP calculations will specify an air pressure test value that needs to be achieved. It is important that this figure and the volume of the building envelope are known before testing begins. The volume of the building is contained in the SAP calculations or, if this is not available, will need to be calculated from the plans & elevations drawings.
